If you follow me on Instagram (and you should! I’m @thejenniferabah) you would know that my friends and I went to Omu Resort some time ago.
This post is long long long overdue and I’ve just been too lazy to write it. But today, I gat you boo! I’m sharing the scoop with you.
Warning: This post is picture heavy!
Nothing makes me happier than seeing people do creative things, seeing people create things and seeing people do things they are passionate about. Do you know why? It shows in the quality of work that they put out.
Lemélange Styling (LMG Styling) is an emerging styling brand with two creative heads behind it whose main aim is to promote African print in every possible way.
I love their work and I’m going to share with you guys 2 of their shoots so you can see why.
Today, I bring you a product review.
I’d been seeing this product online and once saw it at NITC but didn’t buy it because it was pricey.
In October last year, my sister spotted Olori’s stand when we were at the Beauty Africa Exhibition and Conference. We headed there are purchased the medium sized tub which usually costs 4000 NGN. However, we were able to get a discount so we got it at 3600 NGN and they threw in a little sample tub for free.
Hey lovely people,
It’s that beautiful time again.
Nafisah and Oge who blog at Coily Head of Hair and I are presently having a giveaway.
No Instapicks today. Boohoo!
However, this post is long overdue!
Remember when I went for NITC 12?
After leaving NITC, I went to Rele with Dorothy, Kanyinsola and Desola.
Rele is an art gallery on Lagos Island that I’d been seeing on blogs and Instagram so when Desola suggested we go, I was all for it.
When we first got there, we recognized it straight away. This is because of the blackish wood-panel wall that we had come to associate with it thanks to people’s pictures on blogs and Instagram.
So first things first, we spent like half an hour taking our own ‘Rele wall” pictures.
This week, I wasn’t so present on Instagram and I hope this doesn’t tell in the pictures.
How are you guys doing?
I’ve been slightly overwhelmed with work but I feel a bit refreshed now, thanks to the weekend. Hopefully this refreshed feeling doesn’t vanish by Tuesday!
Anywho, here are my picks for the week:
So the 12th NITC (Naturals In The City), a natural hair and lifestyle meetup, was on the 26th of September and as you probably know, I went.
I met some lovely blog readers and I got to meet some great bloggers too e.g Nafisah and Grace.
This time, I wasn’t early so the hall was full when I got there(there were soooo many people at this NITC!). As a result, I will not be doing a summary of the talks because I missed them unfortunately.
I however have pictures for you!
I hope you had a good week? Yes? Whoop whoop!
This week, I had 68 Instagram posts shortlisted for my Instapicks Of The Week! 68!
There were just so many good posts and I really wish I could include all but I can’t. I managed to cut it down to 19 which is still a lot but that was the best I could do so…
Warning: Picture overload ahead! Enjoy!
I hope you’ve had a good week? I’ve been on leave for most of the week so I definitely have had some much needed rest and relaxation.
I even went to NITC yesterday and I met quite a few sweet souls; I was able to put faces to a couple of blogs I follow as well. Afterwards I went to Rele which is an art gallery in Onikan and saw some dope art. I will do a post(or two) about both outings so stay tuned.
You know our normal Sunday ritual on the blog na. Here are my picks for the week.
I am not team Lupita but this Vogue spread was beautiful!
I love when Lagos looks like art
My bae! Peep Blue’s curls and flower crown in the background
But why are our oranges never actually orange?
When your makeup is on fleek and it starts to drizzle.
Throwing in a couple of shots from NITC
I know I look sad but I promise I wasn’t.
How pretty are they?
Which picture is your favourite?
Have a great week.
